Softsols designed, developed and deployed the official website of the University of Karachi (uok.edu.pk), Pakistan’s premier public research university. Founded in 1951, it has nine faculties, 53 departments, 20 research institutes and more than 41,000 students. The new website launched for the university’s Diamond Jubilee (1951–2026). It gives students, faculty and the public one modern entry point for admissions (BS, MS/MPhil, PhD, evening and foreign-student pathways), academics, examinations, research institutes such as HEJ and KIBGE, alumni, scholarships and semester-fee vouchers. Built on Next.js for fast, SEO-friendly pages, with a responsive, animated interface, a live news ticker, faculty and dean directories, an FAQ, and campus news and announcements.
