Softsols designed, developed and deployed the RESPIRE Digital Health Hub, the secure online portal for Platform IV (Digital Health and Innovation) of RESPIRE, the NIHR Global Health Research Unit on Respiratory Health at the University of Edinburgh’s Usher Institute. RESPIRE is funded by the UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Research and runs respiratory health research across Asia, with partners in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom. Platform IV works to build rapid innovation capacity among governments, community engagement groups and academia. The hub gives this multi-country research network one login-protected platform for its digital health work. Softsols delivered the project end to end: UX and visual design in RESPIRE’s brand, a Next.js application with secure authentication, and production deployment on the respiredigitalhub.org domain.
